Our Farmhouse, in collaboration with LEADER companies in Trekking and Riding in Maremma, proposes and organizes for its guests, rides from 2 hours to several days.

We are talking about real trekking on horseback which requires a specific effort, even if it is suitable for all.

It has the taste of Adventure and Discovery.

With our staff, you can choose from several options always accompanied by a specialized Equestrian Environmental Guide:

1 day horse trekking by the sea;

the pinewood of tombolo and the Maremma Park;

the National Park of Diaccia Botrona;

le Bandite of Scarlino;

the beach of Cala Violina and Punta Ala;

Val di Farma, where numerous and limpid rivers flow spectacularly. The river Farma crosses the “Canaloni” forming cascades on a large granite slab, an inlet or “Voltaccia” and a large beach of sand and pebbles. In summer you can even go swimming here;

Val d’Orcia and the hills of Montalcino where art, history and flavours blend wonderfully;

the Castles of Argiano, Poggio alle Mura, Casenovole, Monte Antico and Ripa d’Orcia, legs of a journey through time that arrives at the Abbey of Sant’Antimo, a stop-over for the pilgrims that went to Rome along Via Francigena in the Middle Ages. All around you can see the rows of vines that have made Brunello di Montalcino famous, the excellent red wine very often referred to as the best in the world. There are also great views of Mount Amiata and even the sea;

with Butteri in the Maremma Regional Park, just outside Grosseto, where Maremma cows and horses of Terre di Toscana Regional Farm graze. Here you can meet Butteri, mythical figures of guardian riders who made the history of Maremma.

With them it is possible to go around the pastures on horseback to control herds of cows and horses, calves and foals;

and more, a dense network of paths that connect the villages between the provinces of Siena and Grosseto, taking you from the Maremma coast to the heights of Metalliferous hills.
