Bosco Room
All the rooms of the Farmhouse are themed and treated in detail from chandeliers to mirrors to colors.
The Bosco Room is located on the first floor, facing west, furnished with rustic furniture, wants to recreate the environment of the old Maremma.
The double bed is in wrought iron, complete the furniture a desk with chair, two bedside tables and a wardrobe.
The private bathroom of the room is very spacious, with a shower, a sink and a bidet.
The room ofthe wood is equipped with air conditioning, and radiant floor heating with room thermostat.
On request it is possible to have an extra bed.
The structure of the farm is about 8 km. from the village of Roccastrada, 7 KM from Civitella Paganico and 8 KM from Sticciano
The farm is in the municipal territory of Roccastrada that extends over a surface of almost 285 km², between the plain of the Grosseto Maremma and the Metalliferous hills of Grosseto. It borders to the north with the province of Siena and its municipalities of Chiusdino and Monticiano, to the east with the town of Civitella Paganico, to the southeast with the town of Campagnatico, to the south with the town of Grosseto, to the west with the towns of Gavorrano and Massa Marittima and to the northwest with the municipality of Montieri.
The town was built in the Middle Ages on the top of a hill as a possession of the Aldobrandeschi family.
During the fourteenth century, after a series of struggles, it was conquered by the Sienese who began the exploitation of the nearby copper and silver mines and controlled the entire area until the mid-sixteenth century, when Roccastrada also became part of the Grand Duchy Tuscany, following the definitive fall of the Republic of Siena, which took place in 1555.
The altitude varies from 42 meters s.l.m. of Sticciano Scalo to the 797 meters s.l.m. of Monte Alto, which exceed only ten meters the top of Sassoforte (787 meters s.l.m.), while the municipal district at the highest altitude (560 meters s.l.m.) is that of Sassofortino.
