Marina Room
All the rooms at the Farmhouse are furnished following a particular theme and with graet attention to details, from chandeliers to mirrors and colors.
The Marina Room is located on the first floor, facing north, furnished with furniture Marina Bounty style, to recreate the environment of the cabin of the famous sailing ship
The single bed is very original and particular, and a desk, a chair and a wardrobe complete the room.
The private bathroom is original with a porthole mirror, a shower, a sink and a bidet.
The Marina room is equipped with air conditioning and radiant floor heating with room thermostat.
On request it is possible to have an extra bed.
The structure of the farm is about 8 km. from the village of Roccastrada, 7 KM from Civitella Paganico and 8 KM from Sticciano
The Farmhouse is located in the municipal territory of Roccastrada, an area of about 285 square km, between the plain of Maremma and the Grosseto Metalliferous Hills. It borders with the province of Siena to the north, Civitella Paganico to the east, Campagnatico to the southeast, Grosseto to the south, Gavorrano and Massa Marittima to the west and Montieri to the northwest.
Roccastrada was built in the Middle Ages on top of a hill as a possession of the Aldobrandeschi family.
During the fourteenth century, after a series of struggles, it was conquered by the Sienese who began the exploitation of the nearby copper and silver mines and controlled the entire area until the mid-sixteenth century, when Roccastrada became part of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, following the definitive fall of the republic of Siena, which took place in 1555.
